Warranty Policy
Pro Hobbies operates under a Repair/Replacement Warranty service model. This Refund & Return Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds, repairs, exchanges, or returns are accepted, in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Some items are exempt at all times these items include but are not limited to: tires, paint & painting accessories, batteries, gift cards, RC electronics (eg: Servos, receivers etc) opened or damaged products, customer misuse or fault, unsealed TCG (eg Pokémon etc) any worn apparel or bags.
In addition to your automatic ACL rights, we provide the following warranty periods for extra peace of mind:
RC Toys
Warranty Period: 30 days from purchase
Covers
- Genuine manufacturing faults or defects that prevent normal use
- Items that do not meet acceptable quality under ACL
Excludes
- Any product that has been modified, tampered with, opened/disassembled, or upgraded
- Use outside the manufacturer’s intended purpose or specifications
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, crashes, or man-made force (internal or external)
- Any costs associated with repair or postage for items found to be damaged through misuse or outside

Making a Warranty Claim
If you believe your RC toy has a technical fault:
- Contact Us – Email sales@prohobbies.com.au with:
- A copy of your purchase receipt or proof of purchase
- A written description of the issue
- A short video showing the problem, starting from powering on the item through to demonstrating the fault
2. Assessment – Our technical staff will review your information and advise you on the next steps. If the fault cannot be confirmed by video, you may be asked to return the item for further inspection.
We encourage you to get in touch as soon as you experience a problem so we can assist quickly and effectively.
Trading Cards (Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, etc.)
Warranty Period: 30 days from purchase
Covers
- Cards or sealed products
that arrive faulty, damaged, or misdescribed - Authenticity of all products
- Accuracy of condition grading when advertised
Excludes
- Normal wear and tear from play or handling
- Damage caused by
mishandling or improper storage - Third-party grading outcomes (unless specifically guaranteed)
- Print variations or factory quirks considered normal unless misrepresented
Collectibles & POP! Figures
Warranty Period: 30 days from purchase
Covers
- Defective products or items that fail to meet acceptable quality
- Accuracy of product descriptions (e.g. “limited edition,” “exclusive,” “first run”)
- Faults that make the product unsafe or significantly different from what was advertised
Excludes
- Damage caused by display conditions (sunlight, heat, moisture, etc.)
- Minor cosmetic blemishes
within normal tolerance of mass-produced items - Changes in collector or resale value
Warhammer & Tabletop Miniatures
Warranty Period: 30 days from purchase
Covers
- Missing parts or defects that make items unusable
- Accuracy of product descriptions (e.g. “plastic,” “unpainted,” or specific kit inclusions)
- Goods failing to meet acceptable quality under ACL
Excludes
- Damage after purchase (dropping, modifying, improper storage)
- Alterations, painting, or customisation by the buyer
- Minor cosmetic imperfections that don’t affect use or assembly
- Painting issues caused by the customer unless the defect existed before painting
Making a Warranty Claim
- Contact Us – Reach out via email or visit in-store with proof of purchase.
- Provide Details – Include clear photos and a short description of the issue.
Resolution – Depending on the situation, we’ll offer a repair, replacement, refund, or store credit in line with ACL requirements
